Tickets have gone on sale for “Are You Lonesome Tonight”, the quirky mix of opera and country music which is being brought to Kingaroy next month by Opera Queensland and the South Burnett Regional Council.<\/p>\n

The musical extravaganza will feature featuring arias and songs by Puccini, Verdi, Slim Dusty, Troy Cassar-Daley and Dolly Parton … to name just a few.<\/p>\n

They will be performed by\u00a0three of Australia\u2019s finest young singers: Irena Lysiuk, Marcus Corowa and Jonathan Hickey.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy performance, at the Town Hall on June 15, is part of a 40th anniversary statewide tour by Opera Queensland visiting 30 communities.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the Kingaroy events can be bought at any of Council’s customer service centres or by phoning (07) 4189-9100.<\/p>\n

Tickets are available in three tiers:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Gold Class<\/strong> – $50 \u2013 cheese, wine and reserved table seating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Silver Class<\/strong> – $35 \u2013\u00a0 cheese,\u00a0one glass of wine or soft drink and reserved theatre seating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • General Admission<\/strong> – $20 \u2013 standard theatre seating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
