South Burnett Saints have notched up their first win for 2021 with a strong display against Dalby last Saturday,<\/p>\n

Saints, playing at Dalby, downed the Swans 8.11-59 to\u00a05.4-34 after a big first quarter where they kicked four unanswered goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The visitors were also strong after the main break.<\/p>\n

South Burnett goal kickers included Mitchell Francis (2), Joshua Freeman, Ned O\u2019Connor, Robert Goodwin and Brad Pressnell.<\/p>\n

In the women’s game, Dalby reversed the result, finishing ahead\u00a02.6-18 to\u00a01.2-8.<\/p>\n

Saints’ goal was kicked by Hayley Ellison.<\/p>\n

This weekend, both Saints’ teams will be playing at home at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy against the South Toowoomba Bombers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
