A “tea party” with a difference was held at Bjelke-Petersen Dam at the weekend when Model T Owners Queensland club cruised in for a two-night stay.<\/p>\n

The club’s “Barambah T Party” attracted 14 veteran vehicles – many more than 100 years old.<\/p>\n

Ford Model Ts were manufactured in the United States from 1908 to 1927 but vehicles were also assembled in Australia with locally produced bodies.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Model T Owners Queensland club usually organises four rallies every year, and have visited the South Burnett before.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, they enjoyed morning tea at Wooroolin before heading back up the Bunya Highway for lunch at Goomeri.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, they were planning to visit wineries in the Moffatdale region.<\/p>\n

The club plans to return to the South Burnett for another “T Party” – next time in Kingaroy – on\u00a0October 15-17.<\/p>\n
