The Wondai Kindergarten has received the green light from the State Government to begin a $139,000 renovation to their building in Baynes Street.<\/p>\n

Kindy committee president Jane Iszlaub said there was still some paperwork to be finalised but she expected most of the construction to be done during the June and July holidays.<\/p>\n

Plans for the building have been drawn up. As well as a facelift and expansion of the building, there’ll also be a new shed constructed, a “sensory” garden with herbs and flowers for the children, a chook pen, and new fencing.<\/p>\n

The building will have full disability access.<\/p>\n

“The Wondai Kindy is having a marvellous year,” Jane told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n

“There are only two places left.<\/p>\n

“The waiting list is open for Semester 2 this year and for 2014.”<\/p>\n
