FLASHBACK: Testing the course for the Dead Cow Gully ultramarathon which has now been rescheduled

April 30, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dead Cow Gully Backyard Ultra marathon at Runnymede – which was postponed earlier this year due to the Brisbane COVID lockdown – has been rescheduled for this weekend.<\/p>\n

Runners will take off at 7:00am on Sunday with the aim to complete 6.7km of the rugged course every hour.<\/p>\n

The winner will be the last one standing …<\/p>\n

The Backyard Ultra is being organised by Tim Walsh and will be held on his family\u2019s cattle grazing property at 675 Walsh Road, Runnymede.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The course winds through undulating farmland and a gully etched with cattle tracks.<\/p>\n

Tim has invited spectators to come out and watch the endurance athletes in action.<\/p>\n

There will be live music, the Sushi Yum Yum truck and coffee but BYO drinks and chair.<\/p>\n
