2021 Miss Showgirl Kyla Milne, South Burnett Mayor Brett Otto, Show Society president Craig Lucas and 2021 Rural Ambassador Rosh-Hannah De Caluwe at Kingaroy RSL Club on Friday night<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Preparations are gearing up for the 2021 Kingaroy Show with the sashing of Miss Showgirl and the Rural Ambassador on Friday night.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Mayor Brett Otto sashed the duo in a small ceremony at Kingaroy RSL Club.<\/p>\n

The 2021 Miss Showgirl is Kyla Milne and the 2021 Rural Ambassador is Rosh-Hannah De Caluwe.<\/p>\n

Kyla is a volunteer at the Kingaroy Showgrounds, while Rosh-Hannah is a bookkeeper.<\/p>\n

This is Rosh-Hannah’s second attempt at the title … she was just beaten by her husband, Tim De Caluwe in 2017.<\/p>\n

South Burnett National Show Society president \/ secretary Craig Lucas said the show program was being locked in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Highlights so far include harness racing, mini-trots, lawn mower racing and midget racing cars as well as all the show favourites including wood-chopping, beef and dairy cattle, equestrian events, a dog show and sideshow alley.<\/p>\n

The winner of the South Burnett Sub-Chamber Ute competition will also be announced.<\/p>\n

Queensland Ag Shows general manager Trevor Beckingham OAM has been invited to do the official show opening at 1:30pm on the Saturday (May 1).<\/p>\n

Fireworks will top off Day 1, while the Kingaroy Speedway will provide an exciting finish to Day 2.<\/p>\n

The 114th Kingaroy Show will be held on May 1-2.<\/p>\n
