Kingaroy police are investigating a break-and-enter which awoke a sleeping resident in Carroll Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

The thief entered the home via an unlocked, sliding door at 4:15am.<\/p>\n

The resident was awoken when the thief left their bedroom.<\/p>\n

A purse, keys and a mobile phone were stolen.<\/p>\n

Police are also investigating a number of property offences in Windsor Circle the following day,<\/p>\n

Thieves stole a wallet from an unlocked Suzuki stationwagon and personal property after entering a home via an unlocked rear, sliding door.<\/p>\n

Offenders also tried to enter the rear yard of a property but were chased away by dogs, dropping stolen property at the scene.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Police were called to the intersection of Alford Street and First Avenue in Kingaroy at 10:10pm on Friday after reports a man was standing on the road causing a disturbance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They allegedly found a 32-year-old Kingaroy man standing on the roadway, blocking traffic.<\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 10 charged with a public nuisance offence and failing to properly dispose of a used syringe.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At 11:20pm on Saturday, police were called to an alleged disturbance in Earl Street, Kingaroy.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police located a 36-year-old Caboolture woman driving a Holden stationwagon. She will\u00a0appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 10 charged with drink driving (0.111 BAC) and\u00a0possessing a dangerous drug (cannabis).<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At 9:45am on Sunday, police were called to an alleged disturbance in Booth Street, Kingaroy.<\/b><\/p>\n

An 18-year-old woman was arrested and will appear in\u00a0 Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 6\u00a0charged with wilful damage. Police will allege she damaged the exterior of the house, windows and a barbecue with a stick.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At 10:40am on Sunday, police were called to a Kingaroy Street residence due to an alleged disturbance.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 32-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly told police he was agitated because he had no cannabis.\u00a0The man then produced a bong to police.<\/p>\n

At 11:50am police were called to Gladys Street, Kingaroy, in relation a neighbourhood dispute about dogs.<\/p>\n

While at this residence the same 32-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly approached the residents police were speaking to and began threatening and abusing them.<\/p>\n

He was advised by police to settle down and return to his house but allegedly clenched his fist and ignored police.<\/p>\n

He was arrested \u00a0and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 17 charged with a public nuisance offence and possessing a drug utensil.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Police have appealed to homeowners in the Murgon area to ensure their house, vehicles and property are secure after a number of recent break-and-enters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said the majority of the offences happened between March 29 and April 5.<\/p>\n

Other incidents involved the entry of unlocked cars in Wondai.<\/p>\n
