A 79-year-old former Queensland MP is facing multiple charges of indecent treatment of teenage girls.<\/p>\n

The offences were allegedly committed between December 31, 1974 and January 1, 1977, in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Roma, before the man was elected to State Parliament.<\/p>\n

He was formerly a member of the Citizens Electoral Council before joining the National Party.<\/p>\n

The man is expected to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on Monday.<\/p>\n
