Wondai-based web designer Judy Schulz believes her application for a court order against South Burnett councillor Scott Henschen will fail.<\/p>\n

In a 21-minute video uploaded to social media on Sunday night, Ms Schulz said her application for a peace and good behaviour order “did not meet all the requirements under the Act”.<\/p>\n

She believes her application – which is next listed for mention on April 9 in Kingaroy Magistrates Court – will be struck out and costs will be awarded against her.<\/p>\n

Ms Schulz’s application for a peace and good behaviour order against the Division 6 councillor and Kingaroy businesspeople John and Laura Newbery was discussed briefly in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 5.<\/p>\n

The Newberys formerly employed Cr Henschen’s late wife Sonya and are friends of Cr Henschen.<\/p>\n

During that proceedings, Magistrate\u00a0Andrew Sinclair said \u201con first blush\u201d the complaints and summonses in respect of the Newberys \u201cat very least” seem entirely devoid of any ground for issuing them.<\/p>\n

During the video Ms Schulz – who was Cr Henschen’s campaign manager for the 2020 local government elections – repeats allegations which have been aired widely on social media platforms over recent months but which have not been stated in open court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She alleges a “boy’s club” in the South Burnett is working against her.<\/p>\n

During the wide-ranging video, Ms Schulz mentions Kingaroy and Murgon police, Council staff members, Mayor Brett Otto and lists complaints she says she has lodged with the\u00a0Office of the Independent Assessor (OIA), the body which hears complaints against councillors.<\/p>\n

An examination of the official register of\u00a0Outcomes of Complaints Against Councillors<\/a><\/strong>, which by law the SBRC must publish, shows all complaints lodged with the\u00a0Office of the Independent Assessor since the 2020 Council elections have been dismissed.<\/p>\n
