{"id":295618,"date":"2021-03-13T17:23:54","date_gmt":"2021-03-13T07:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=295618"},"modified":"2021-03-19T10:38:34","modified_gmt":"2021-03-19T00:38:34","slug":"public-health-alert-in-brisbane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/03\/13\/public-health-alert-in-brisbane\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Health Alert In Brisbane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>March 13, 2021<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A public health alert has been issued for parts of Brisbane in the wake of the COVID-19 case from Princess Alexandra Hospital which was confirmed on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who have been in the locations listed below during the relevant times are should immediately quarantine at home until March 25 \u2013 and call 13-HEALTH (13-43-25-84).<\/p>\n<p>Contact tracers are also currently contacting people based on details provided by the venues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Morning After Caf\u00e9<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0corner Vulture and Cambridge streets, West End &#8211; Thursday, March 11, 2:00pm-3:15pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Corporate Box Gym<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0368A Logan Road, Greenslopes &#8211; Thursday, March 11, 5:45pm-7:00pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stones Corner Hotel <\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0346 Logan Road, Stones Corner &#8211; Thursday, March 11, 7:00pm-7:45pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A Queensland Health spokesperson said further information was being obtained on the Corporate Box Gym and Stones Corner Hotel venues and the risk assessment may be updated.<\/p>\n<p>A &#8220;low-risk&#8221; venue has also been identified: the McDonald&#8217;s drive-thru,\u00a0235 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo 3:10am-3:20am<\/p>\n<p>People who attended this venue at the relevant time are asked to monitor their health and immediately get tested if they get any COVID-19 symptoms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Queensland Health also announced that all non-essential visits to hospitals, residential aged care facilities, disability accommodation services and correctional facilities in Greater Brisbane will cease.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be effective from noon on Saturday and reviewed Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone attending these facilities in Greater Brisbane (including staff) must wear a mask.
