The Alford and Glendon Street roundabout in Kingaroy will be closed for 24 hours on Monday as part of the Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP).<\/p>\n

A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said that as well, a single lane will be closed on the southern side of Alford Street, between the Glendon and Kingaroy Street intersections.<\/p>\n

This closure will be in place until Sunday, March 7.<\/p>\n

The closures will allow for\u00a0critical water main replacement works.<\/p>\n

Pedestrian access will remain open at all times.<\/p>\n

“During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works,” the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
