Missing the Nanango Film Festival? Well, this might help to fill the gap … the Queensland Touring Film Festival is coming to Nanango this weekend with a swag of short films.<\/p>\n

The QTTF is being hosted by the Nanango Theatre Company at their “opera house”, on the corner of George and Elk streets.<\/p>\n

A special program has been selected for Nanango, consisting of some of the best short films entered into the festival over the past three years, including a comedy about kids dealing with the COVID world, a documentary about a 72-year-old aspiring to be a ballerina, and an animated short film which took more 10 years to make.<\/p>\n

There will be two screenings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first is a PG-rated screening of eight international films on Sunday (January 24) starting at 3:00pm. This program also includes tea, coffee and cake. Tickets are $10.<\/p>\n

The second is on the night of Australia Day (January 26) starting at 7:00pm. This will be a M-rated program of eight Aussie short films and will be presented as a wine and cheese format. Tickets are $25 per head and a cash bar will operate for wine and beer.<\/p>\n
