South Burnett Regional Council has extended its dog registration pensioner discount to all pension card holders.<\/p>\n

The decision was made at Council’s December meeting.<\/p>\n

The pensioner discount for de-sexed and microchipped dogs was granted previously only to aged pensioners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The change will take effect on December 1, 2021, in line with the next dog registration period.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said pensioners should provide evidence of their pension status to any of Council\u2019s Customer Contact Centres before October 2021 so their records could be updated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
