More locations have been added to Queensland Health’s contact tracing list after confirmation the\u00a0partner of a quarantine hotel cleaner has now also tested positive.<\/p>\n

Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said the man had been in quarantine since January 7 and had originally tested negative.<\/p>\n

He tested positive on Monday after a second test.<\/p>\n

Additional contact tracing is underway.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re asking anyone who has been to specific locations the first positive case has been, to get tested and go into quarantine for 14 days since exposure,\u201d Dr Young said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also asking those people to come forward for testing \u2013 regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.<\/p>\n

\u201cCritically, even if a negative test result is received, please continue to monitor for symptoms and get retested if necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n
