December 31, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man has been flown to Bundaberg Hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Mundubbera-Durong Road at Derri Derra on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident at 2:36pm.<\/p>\n

The road was closed to allow an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to land nearby just after 3:00pm.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed the man, aged in his 40s, lost control of his vehicle which then rolled several times.<\/p>\n

He was able to free himself from the vehicle, before emergency services arrived on scene.<\/p>\n

He was treated for multiple injuries including fractures, before being airlifted in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

Two people were airlifted to hospital after separate incidents at the Manar Park motocross track, near Boondooma, on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter flew the first person out on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

A few hours later, about 7:20pm, RACQ LifeFlight’s Toowoomba helicopter was called to the track after a rider was injured.<\/p>\n

It is believed the man, aged in his 30s, was attempting a jump just before 7:00pm when it all went wrong.<\/p>\n

The LifeFlight crew worked with QAS paramedics at the scene to treat the man for suspected head and chest injuries and multiple fractures.<\/p>\n

He was then flown in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital under the care of a LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
