A popular type of apple juice sold in Woolworths and independent food retailers in Queensland has been recalled due to contamination.<\/p>\n

Monde Nissan Australia Pty Ltd is conducting the recall of the Nudie Nothing But 2 Apples, 200ml size, with a “Best Before” date of June 18, 2021.<\/p>\n

All other “Best Before dates” are not affected.<\/p>\n

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) said the recall was due to contamination by a mycotoxin, patulin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Food products containing patulin may cause illness if consumed.<\/p>\n

FSANZ said any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.<\/p>\n
