December 10, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Christmas spirit was alive and well in Kumbia on Sunday night with a happy turnout for the town’s annual festive celebration.<\/p>\n

Of course, COVID brought some changes – signing in at the entrance, and a distribution of stalls inside the Memorial Hall as well as in the surrounding area – but the number of attendees actually seemed to be greater than in the past couple of years.<\/p>\n

All the old favourites were there: the ham wheel, the Christmas Tree competition and the sausage sizzle and desserts (always popular).<\/p>\n

And Santa Claus also squeezed in an appearance in his busy schedule, arriving in style in a police car!<\/p>\n
