Bond Bridge on Chinchilla-Wondai Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Widen priority sections of D&#8217;Aguilar Highway between Yarraman and Kingaroy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct a footpath on Haly Street, Kingaroy between Jarrah and Fisher streets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin planning to replace the Tanduringie Creek Bridge on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road at Tanduringie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade a major culvert on the Murgon-Gayndah Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Widen and overlay sections of Kumbia-Brooklands Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct a new sealed section on Memerambi-Barkers Creek Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Widen a section of Peterson Drive, Taabinga<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct a footpath on Tessmanns Road in Kingaroy, between Doonkuna and Ivy streets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Design a shared path from Youngman to Somerset Street (rail trail)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Around schools, work planned includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct a footpath outside Goomeri State School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete upgrade of school set-down facilities at Wheatlands State School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade pedestrian facilities on Burnett and Drayton streets outside Nanango State School and construct a pedestrian bridge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Install a pedestrian refuge in Dutton Street outside Murgon State High School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade passenger set-down facility in Kent Street, Kingaroy, outside St Mary&#8217;s Catholic College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade passenger set-down facility outside Wondai State School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct footpath in Markwell and William streets to Youngman Street for Kingaroy State School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade passenger set-down on Railway Terrace outside Taabinga State School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Construct footpath on William and Avoca streets for Kingaroy State High School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Further information about these projects &#8211; including dates and expenditure &#8211; can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publications.qld.gov.au\/dataset\/queensland-transport-and-roads-investment-program-qtrip-2020-21-to-2023-24\/resource\/90f8362d-97b5-4a93-a4d5-b3b79a7d9018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The State Budget has confirmed funding for a number of road projects in the South Burnett region, although some of the dollars have been allocated simply for preliminary planning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":279495,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[16,3],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
