The Rotary Club of Kingaroy-Taabinga has sponsored a local exchange student to spend this year in Sweden, and the Club is now required to host a student:\u00a0a 15 or 16-year-old girl from Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The club needs to find three or four host families for the year who would be willing to have an additional family member for 3-4 months.<\/p>\n

There is no financial incentive to do this, but this club pays a sufficient allowance to the student for their personal needs.<\/p>\n

All Rotary travel and any other personal travel that students do is at their expense.<\/p>\n

So apart from some \u201cdisruption\u201d to normal life, the only cost to you would be food.<\/p>\n

The only formal qualification to take on this role is the ability to obtain a Blue Card from the Children\u2019s Commission for every adult member of the family.<\/p>\n

The would assess general suitability.<\/p>\n
