Senior Constable Todd Armstrong has been appointed the new officer-in-charge at Kumbia Police station.<\/p>\n

One of Senior Constable Armstrong’s first roles after his appointment was patrolling at this week’s Kumbia Races.<\/p>\n

He’s a familiar face to South Burnett residents after serving at Kingaroy Station for many years and as the Adopt-a-Cop at Saint Mary’s Catholic College – a role he will continue to fill.<\/p>\n

“My family and I are very lucky to have the opportunity to be living and working in such a great community,” Senior Constable Armstrong told Kumbia Party Line.<\/p>\n

“Thank you to those who have already provided us with warm welcomes.”<\/p>\n

The front counter at the Kumbia Police Station will be open on Mondays from 8:00am to noon (subject to operational requirements).<\/strong><\/p>\n

“For service outside these hours please phone 000 in an emergency or Policelink 13-14-44 for non-urgent reporting,” Senior Constable Armstrong said.<\/p>\n

“Alternatively you can report non-urgent matters through the QPS website.<\/p>\n

“Currently I am unable to process weapons licence documents. If it is urgent, please complete online or at the Kingaroy Police Station.<\/p>\n

“All new weapons license applications are now processed through Australia Post in Kingaroy.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
