first round of its 2020-21 Community Grants Program.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the round closed on August 31.<\/p>\n<p>Council received 35 applications for funding and approved 28 of them.<\/p>\n<p>Cr Danita Potter announced the successful applicants at Wednesday&#8217;s Council meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>They were:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tablelands Hall Committee &#8211; $1000 for hall insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kumbia and District Historical Society &#8211; $920 for hall insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Farmers Hall, Inverlaw &#8211; $1000 for hall insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wooroolin Community Committee &#8211; $1000 for hall insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Mondure Hall &#8211; $1000 for hall insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nanango Tourism &amp; Development Association &#8211; $1000 for Australia Day 2021 sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kumbia &amp; District Memorial School Of The Arts &#8211; $1000 for Australia Day 2021 sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nanango Tourism &amp; Development Association &#8211; $2000 for Nanango Family Christmas Beyond The Nest development camp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nanango Tai Chi &#8211; $2000 to purchase a PA sound system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South Burnett Little Athletics &#8211; $3000 to top dress a high jump area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kingaroy State High School P&amp;C &#8211; $500 to support three bursary awards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wondai State School &#8211; $300 to support school student awards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The second and final round of the 2020-21 Community Grants Program will open for applications on February 1, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information about how to
