Five local community groups will be sharing nearly $100,000 from Round 105 of the State Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund.<\/p>\n

The successful recipients were announced by Attorney-General Yvette D\u2019Ath\u00a0on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Attorney-General said that like Round 104 – announced last month – grant recipients would enjoy flexible arrangements in acquitting the latest funding, as many were dealing with the effects of coronavirus.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome organisations have delayed or extended the timeline for their events, purchases or projects as a result of COVID-19, so we\u2019ve put flexible arrangements in place to take this into account,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Round 105 has distributed $13.4 million to 522 groups across Queensland.<\/p>\n

Applications for Round 107 are now open and will close on October 31.<\/p>\n

GCBF grants are worth between $500 and $35,000 and applications are open to not-for-profit organisations.<\/p>\n

Over the past 25 years, GCBF has distributed more than $947 million to community groups helping Queenslanders.<\/p>\n
