The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a boy to hospital after a quad bike crash on a private property, north of Crows Nest.<\/p>\n

It’s believed the primary school-aged boy had been attempting to perform a jump when he crashed.<\/p>\n

He suffered head and abdominal injuries.<\/p>\n

The helicopter was despatched to the scene, in the Pierces Creek area, about 11:30am.<\/p>\n

The aeromedical crew joined QAS paramedics in treating and stabilising the patient, before he was transferred to the waiting helicopter.<\/p>\n

The boy was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
