There are now 31 active cases of COVID-19 in Queensland following the confirmation of three new cases on Saturday and two on Friday.<\/p>\n

All five cases are contacts of previously confirmed cases and were already in quarantine.<\/p>\n

Thirteen of the active cases are currently in hospital but none are in intensive care.<\/p>\n

The total number of cases associated with the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre and Corrections Academy cluster is now 48.<\/p>\n

This includes seven staff from Ipswich Hospital.<\/p>\n

Queensland Health also released an updated public health alert on Saturday, adding Hungry Jacks at Redbank Plains Shopping Centre on September 8 to the contact tracing alert list (see below).<\/p>\n

Anyone who has been to any of these locations at these times should monitor their health and, if they develop even the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms, get tested.<\/p>\n
