Saturday’s Bunya Bull sale at the Coolabunia Saleyards had a 100 per cent clearance rate for the 56 bulls up for sale, a result described by the organising committee as “the best yet”.<\/p>\n

The sale produced an average price of $8795 per beast with a top price – $20,000 – going to the first lot of the day.<\/p>\n

All up, the sale generated $492,500 for the 20 vendors who put lots up for auction.<\/p>\n

It was attended by 82 registered card bidders and a further 25 registered online bidders.<\/p>\n

The sale was organised by the Bunya Bull Sale committee, and GDL and Aussie Land & Livestock were the sale’s agents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“It was a really strong sale and I don\u2019t think any of the vendors will go home unhappy,” Bunya Bull Sale committee chair Graham Brown said.<\/p>\n

“This is our seventh sale since taking over the Bunya Bull Sale and its been our best yet.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s also a credit to our vendors in the way they presented the bulls here for the buyers.<\/p>\n

“82 registered buyers … that is outstanding.”<\/p>\n

Corey Evans from Aussie Land & Livestock agreed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“A lot of bulls sold over $10,000 with many others between $5000-$7000,” he said<\/p>\n

“There was definitely a lot of value on offer.”<\/p>\n
