A 19-year-old man will face two charges following a single-vehicle crash at Alice Creek on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called at 2:40pm after a vehicle left the road and hit a tree on Alice Creek Road.<\/p>\n

A 19-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance in a stable condition with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said the male driver has been charged with drink-driving and driving without an interlock device fitted.<\/p>\n

He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14.<\/p>\n

An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital after he crashed his motorbike on Saturday morning, north of Bullcamp.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is believed the man was riding with friends when he clipped a guardrail.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the incident about 11:30am and landed nearby.<\/p>\n

The aeromedical team worked alongside ambulance paramedics to stabilise the man, who had suffered lower limb injuries.<\/p>\n

He was flown in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.<\/p>\n

It was the third motorbike crash the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew had attended in 24 hours.<\/p>\n

On Friday, they were sent to\u00a0Mary Valley to airlift a man who had crashed his dirt bike in a State Forest.\u00a0He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.<\/p>\n

Later that evening, the crew was\u00a0sent to another motorbike crash, this time in the Fraser Coast region.<\/p>\n

A man, aged in his twenties, suffered a leg injury and was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
