Kilkivan P-10 is a regional winner in the annual Showcase Awards For Excellence<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

August 28, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kilkivan State High School has been named as a Regional Winner in the 2020 Education Queensland “Showcase Awards For Excellence”.<\/p>\n

The school won the\u00a0Award for Excellence in Rural and Remote Education in the North Coast region for their program “Working together, learning together”.<\/p>\n

The annual awards showcase State schools that are significantly improving student outcomes.<\/p>\n

They recognise dedicated teachers, principals, leadership teams and school communities.<\/p>\n

The school was presented with a cheque for $2000 last week by the Department which will be put towards further study for staff and \/ or resources.<\/p>\n

Kilkivan SS is now waiting to see if it makes it to the State Finalists list, which will be announced on September 2.<\/p>\n

The State winners will be announced during an online presentation broadcast on September 14.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
