Pratt Agencies<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Agents yarded 600 head in Murgon on Tuesday, and export cattle remained firm on previous sales.<\/p>\n<p>Weaner cattle also sold to a very strong market.<\/p>\n<p>Cattle were drawn from Eidsvold, Gayndah, Mt Perry, Kingaroy, Kilkivan, Boondooma, Hivesville and the Murgon district.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sale results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heavy Bulls topped at $2.77\/kg and $2523<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bullocks sold to $3.40 for $1868<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Heavy Cows over 500kg topped at $2.83\/kg and $1712, averaging $2.79\/kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cows 400-500kg sold to $2.83\/kg for a $2.57 average<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lighter Cows under 400kg topped at $2.42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Export heifers sold to $2.99\/kg and $1899<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hereford steers from Manumbar sold for $3.40\/kg and $1868<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>450kg Angus Steers from Wondai sold to $4.04\/kg to return href=\"https:\/\/aussiell.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">by Aussie Land &amp; Livestock<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Coolabunia sale on Tuesday afternoon saw very strong results overall, despite the absence of one of the regular export buyers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sale results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cows sold strongly, with store cows starting around $2.26\/kg and ranging up to $2.90\/kg for better<br \/>\ncondition beasts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bulls sold in the $2.50\/kg to $3.10\/kg range<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Store heifers ranged from $3.50\/kg to $4.30\/kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Steers sold in the $3.80\/kg to $4.60\/kg range, with very strong competition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steers and heifers at the sale were going to local paddocks, or back to the Downs, southern border regions and NSW.<\/p>\n<p>The sale also saw a good run of cows and calves from a vendor who has had to sell their property due to illness.<\/p>\n<p>Young cows sold at $1700 PTIC Reg Tag and Blue Tag, while their calves &#8211; which had been weaned &#8211; sold for $1050 (i.e $2750 per total unit).<\/p>\n<p>This was a very happy result for the vendor &#8211; the
