August 24, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 30-year-old Stalworth truck driver has been charged with obstructing police after he was pulled over by the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit on the Bunya Highway on Sunday at Kumbia.<\/p>\n

Police will allege the man at first agreed to a roadside drug test, which returned a positive result.<\/p>\n

However, when he was required to provide a second sample, he allegedly refused to do so.<\/p>\n

He has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of saliva as well as obstructing police.<\/p>\n

He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21.<\/p>\n

His licence was also immediately suspended until the court date.<\/p>\n

A 23-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 12 charged with drug driving after she was stopped by police in Haly Street, Kingaroy, on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A driver pulled over near the Kingaroy Police Station, on Thursday has allegedly tested positive to drugs at a roadside test.\u00a0 The 31-year-old Kingaroy man will face a drug-driving charge in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

QAS has transported\u00a0a patient to Gayndah Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway on Monday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident, between Ban Ban Springs and Gayndah, about 8:00am.<\/p>\n

A woman was taken to Toowoomba Hospital after a car rolled on Oakey-Cooyar Road at Nutgrove, near Cooyar, about 8:50am on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n
