QFES issued an \u201cAdvice\u201d alert to local residents on Wednesday afternoon for a bushfire at South Nanango,\u00a0burning to the north of Beitzel Road and to the east of Bochmann Road.<\/p>\n

At 2:55pm, there were 15 fire units at the incident.<\/p>\n

From QFES at 12:30pm, Thursday:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fire crews remain on scene at a bushfire burning in South Nanango.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out yesterday and is posing no threat to property at this time. Nearby residents may be affected by a smoke haze.<\/p>\n

Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by.<\/p>\n

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.<\/p>\n

If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Properties are not under direct threat at this time. Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you believe you or your property is under threat.<\/p>\n
