Well-known Gympie farmer John Cochrane has injected new hope into the future of Queensland’s dairy industry with the launch on Friday of a range of bottled milk.<\/p>\n

The vote of confidence follows the commissioning of the Cochrane family’s new dairy processing facility in the Mary Valley, capable of producing 6000 bottles of milk an hour.<\/p>\n

Kenilworth Milk, bottled by Kenilworth Dairies, will only be available at three nearby locations initially, but the company aims to have the range in independent grocery stores and IGA supermarkets soon.<\/p>\n

The full cream milk is being sold in one litre, two litre and three litre containers.<\/p>\n

The Cochrane family – John and Margaret, their son Kelvin and daughter-in-law Ronnie – bought the then-Kenilworth Country Foods in 2017.<\/p>\n

The business also produces handcrafted cheese as well as mousses and yoghurts sold in Woolworths supermarkets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
