Five men have been charged with a range of offences after police\u00a0allegedly seized a sawn-off shotgun and drugs in a vehicle in Murgon on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said police stopped a vehicle on Borcherts Hill Road about 9:10pm.<\/p>\n

During the intercept, police allegedly located two firearms – including the shotgun – ammunition, drugs and a large amount of alcohol.<\/p>\n

A 35-year-old Kallangur man has been charged with seven offences including unlawful possession of weapons and drug possession.<\/p>\n

He was due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

A 22-year-old Kallangur man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempting to take alcohol into a restricted area.<\/p>\n

He was also scheduled to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Two 27-year-old men, from Chermside and Kallangur, and a 26-year-old man from Kallangur were charged in relation to attempting to take liquor into a restricted area.<\/p>\n
