The Federal Government has released guidelines for the $1 million second round of Wine Export Grants to support smaller to medium wine producers.<\/p>\n

Agriculture Minister David Littleproud said the grants would help wine producers access the lucrative world wine market.<\/p>\n

\u201cAustralian Grape and Wine and Wine Australia approached me earlier this year with a proposal to run another round of these grants, with tweaks to ensure producers could diversify to more markets and claim a broader range of expenses for online promotion of their brands,\u201d Mr Littleproud said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Wine Export Grant is helping eligible producers meet the costs associated with marketing their products with reimbursements of up to $25,000.”<\/p>\n

Wine Australia Chief Executive Officer Andreas Clark said Round 1 of the program helped 135 wine producers to deliver promotional activities in China and the United States in 2018-19.<\/p>\n

“The grant guidelines for this new round have been expanded, so that new and existing exporters can seek out opportunities and secure distribution in any international market,” Mr Clark said.<\/p>\n

“The grant is open to businesses that received funding in Round 1.”<\/p>\n
