Do you remember collecting all those stickers from the supermarket to help local schools?<\/p>\n

Well, it’s worked …<\/p>\n

St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy is celebrating the arrival of an array of new learning supplies thanks to the support of the local community, parents and the Woolworths “Earn & Learn” program.<\/p>\n

St Mary\u2019s has been able to purchase many great items including puzzles and board games, painting and classroom supplies, calculators, science and engineering kits, sports equipment and books.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very grateful to Woolworths, our parents, the local community and Parents and Friends Association for providing such wonderful resources for our community,” principal Michael Nayler said.<\/p>\n

“They will give our students much-needed additional resources which otherwise would have been beyond our limited budget.\u201d<\/p>\n

More than 12,500 schools and early learning centres across Australia will receive new supplies earned through the Woolworths Earn & Learn program.<\/p>\n

Schools were able to select the resources they needed most, giving them a major boost at no extra cost.<\/p>\n

Between May and August last year, shoppers were encouraged to collect Earn & Learn stickers for schools to redeem against a range of more than 9000 educational resources.<\/p>\n

Since the Woolworths Earn & Learn program started, more than $26 million worth of new equipment and resources has been contributed to schools across Australia.<\/p>\n
