Toowoomba Regional Council has launched the 2020 “Walks & Trails of Toowoomba Region” guide which showcases 78 local nature excursions.<\/p>\n

The new booklet includes new park adventures and 20km more trails.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe walks and trails included are graded for all fitness levels with options for the novice trekker through to the experienced outdoor enthusiasts,” Cr Tim McMahon said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBushwalkers can explore the 160km-long Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, which is one of the longest trails in Australia stretching from the hills of Yarraman through to Wulkuraka near Ipswich.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlternately, if it is a more leisurely stroll you are looking for, the 270-metre long wheelchair friendly Sensory Walk at J E Duggan Park (at Rangeville) with braille signage might be more your style.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe more active adventurers may wish to explore the new offerings at Mt Peel (at Drayton) with 7250 metres of single-track mount bike trails on offer.”<\/p>\n
