Staff at Orana Aged Care in Kingaroy have been working hard at the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Services manager Kym Zischke said the workers have been extra busy, making sure Orana residents were kept safe.<\/p>\n

Lutheran Services decided to hold a “thank you” day for the 116 staff members on Friday.<\/p>\n

Chocolates were handed out as well as free pizzas – delivered at the start of each of the three shifts – donated by Dominos in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Dominos store manager Rohit Malhotra said the donation was part of the store’s “Give For Good<\/a><\/strong>” campaign which has been supporting frontline workers during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

“We wanted to say thank you to our staff but the fact that Dominos was willing to donate all these pizzas was phenomenal,” Kym said.<\/p>\n
