Bendigo Bank has confirmed its Wondai agency will close on Friday, August 28.<\/p>\n

The agency – which opened in April 2017 – is located inside Robinson’s News and Gifts at 50 Mackenzie Street.<\/p>\n

A Bendigo Bank spokesperson described the decision to close the agency as “regrettable”.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the commercial decision to close the agency is regrettable, our Community Bank branch in Nanango is available to assist customers with face-to-face banking, along with a range of other lending and financial services,” the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a mobile lender ready to visit Wondai as required and the Nanango Community Bank provides a convenient mobile lending service across the region to service residential and small business lending enquiries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Customers can continue to bank 24\/7 online or via our mobile app and on 1300 BENDIGO (1300-236-344).<\/p>\n

“Customers can also conduct their face-to-face banking via Australia Post\u2019s Bank@Post service, located at 12 Mackenzie Street.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would like to thank the staff at Wondai Agency for their service and support over the past four years and wish them every success in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bank’s agency in Murgon, at Struddys Sports at 73 Lamb Street, is also available to help customers.<\/p>\n
