Sections of the D’Aguilar Highway between Caboolture and Yarraman will enjoy a $19 million upgrade thanks to joint Federal-State Government funding.<\/p>\n

Federal Member for Maranoa David Littleproud said the project would be targeting road safety improvements, including wide centrelines, audio-tactile line-marking, shoulder widening, the removal of roadside hazards and the installation of safety barriers.<\/p>\n

A total of $15.2 million towards the project will be funded under the Federal Government’s “Targeted Road Safety Package”.<\/p>\n

Mr Littleproud said “getting shovels in the ground” on local construction projects was important for maintaining jobs and economic growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery single job that we support makes a huge difference in our local communities, now and as we navigate out of the pandemic,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
