Several toilet blocks in Kingaroy and Murgon will be closed after hours from the end of this week in a bid to reduce vandalism.<\/p>\n

A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said the facilities to be closed at night are located in:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Queen Elizabeth II Park, Lamb Street, Murgon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Glendon Street, Kingaroy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • O’Neill Square, Kingaroy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        From Friday (June 12), these toilet blocks will now be open from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily.<\/p>\n

        All other public amenities in the Kingaroy and Murgon areas will remain open.<\/p>\n

        The Council spokesperson said vandalism had cost Council nearly $15,000 during the past seven months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
