Kingaroy Police are keen to return a number of pushbikes to their rightful owners.<\/p>\n

If you believe either of these bicycles are yours, contact the Kingaroy police station property officer on (07) 4160-4900 between 8:00am and 3:00pm.<\/p>\n

Proof of ownership will be required before the bikes are released from the station.<\/p>\n

Drugs<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  • Two men have been charged and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 13 after police searched a house in Earl Street, Kingaroy, last Tuesday (June 2).\u00a0A\u00a040-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils. A 23-year-old Murgon man has been charged with possessing a drug utensil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • At 6:40pm on June 2,\u00a0 police attended a Jacaranda Avenue address on another matter.\u00a0While there, officers allegedly detected the smell of burnt cannabis. A search allegedly located a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils.\u00a0A 24-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 6, charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • \u00a0A 21-year-old Kingaroy man\u00a0will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 6\u00a0charged with possessing a drug utensil after police stopped a Subaru sedan in Freemans Lane, Kingaroy, at 9:35pm on June 2. The man was a passenger in the vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • An 18-year-old Redbank Plains man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 3 charged with drug possession after police allegedly located a small amount of amphetamine during a search of an address in Haly Street at 9:30am on May 3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Property<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

          Investigations are continuing into a number of recent incidents:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • The driver’s window of a Holden sedan, parked at a residence in Haly Street, Kingaroy, was smashed by a rock on June 5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Between 10:30pm and 11:30pm on June 5, an unknown person entered the grounds of the Kingaroy Fire Station and removed a generator from a fire truck.\u00a0It appears the would-be thief was disturbed as they left the property behind.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Police are investigating the break and enter of a hall and library in Glendon Street at the weekend. Thieves stole a digital mixing console and two cordless microphones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between June 1-7 within the Kingaroy Police Division, including drug, property and traffic offences.
