Kingaroy ambulance officers have bid a fond farewell to their old station in Kent Street to allow the wrecking crews to move in.<\/p>\n

The 11 staff and seven vehicles today finished a relocation into temporary premises at 213 Haly Street – the former Kingaroy Family Care medical practice building next door to McDonald’s.<\/p>\n

The move will allow demolition to begin on their old home to make way for a new $1.5 million replacement station.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-Charge Nolan Jones said he expected they would be in the Haly Street building for about 12 months.<\/p>\n

Nolan said all the telephones and computers were now connected which meant it was “business as usual”.<\/p>\n
