Kingaroy police are calling for witnesses to a traffic crash which occurred on Railway Terrace last Wednesday (May 27).<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said witnesses saw a white Toyota Hilux turn from Knight Street into Railway Terrace, heading south.<\/p>\n

The vehicle then swerved off on to the grass before veering backing on to the road and crashing into the rear of a parked red Commodore.<\/p>\n

The Hilux then drove off.<\/p>\n

The registration of the vehicle is unknown.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

Police are investigating an attempted break-in at a residence in Kefford Street, Kingaroy, at 1:40am on Sunday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Residents disturbed a man trying to force entry into their home through a front window.<\/p>\n

The would-be thief was described as wearing an orange hat with a dark chest-length beard.<\/p>\n

  • A 31-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in\u00a0Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 27 charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils after police searched a residence in Buckingham Street, Kingaroy, at 3:30pm on May 27. Police allegedly located small quantities of cannabis and amphetamine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A 26-year-old woman will appear in\u00a0Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 27 charged with\u00a0possessing drugs and drug utensils after police searched a residence in\u00a0McAuliffes Road at Booie. Police allegedly located\u00a0a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Last Friday (May 29), police had reason to speak with a 34-year-old Kingaroy man in Doonkuna Street, Kingaroy, about 3:40pm.\u00a0\u00a0The man was subsequently arrested in relation to a bicycle he was riding. While being arrested, he allegedly struggled with police and had to be restrained.\u00a0 A search at the police station allegedly located a small amount of amphetamine in his possession. The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 6\u00a0charged with being in possession of property suspected of being stolen, possessing a dangerous drug and obstructing police.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • On Sunday (May 31), police spoke to 19-year-old Crawford man in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 2:20am.\u00a0 While talking to the man, police allegedly saw him hide something in his pants.\u00a0 A search then allegedly located a bag containing a small quantity of cannabis.\u00a0The man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 17 charged with drug possession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • A 24-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 17 charged with drug possession after police allegedly found him in possession of a small amount or amphetamine at 12:45am on Monday in\u00a0Haly Street, Kingaroy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Police received information from members of the public on Tuesday morning that they had\u00a0confronted a man allegedly\u00a0stealing property from their work vehicle in a Kingaroy Street carpark.\u00a0Police attended and located a 33-year-old Murgon man.\u00a0He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 4\u00a0charged with the unlawful entry of a vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • A 42-year-old woman\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 6 charged with driving while disqualified after police stopped her Holden sedan in Francis Street, Kingaroy, about 8:00pm on May 28.\u00a0Her vehicle is also subject to a 90-day impoundment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • At 1:50pm on May 29, police intercepted a 26-year-old Yarraman man driving a Mitsubishi ute in Albert Street, Kingaroy.\u00a0 The man allegedly made admissions to having smoked drugs during the day.\u00a0 A search of his vehicle allegedly located a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils.\u00a0He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 27\u00a0charged with drug driving and possessing drugs and drug utensils.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • A 19-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 20 charged with drug driving after police pulled over a Hyundai sedan on the Bunya Highway at 5:35pm on Monday. His passenger, another 19-year-old Kingaroy man, will appear\u00a0in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 6 charged with drug possession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
