Holly Ferling’s bowling helped steer Kingaroy Services to victory<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Talented women’s cricketer Holly Ferling, 16, starred in Kingaroy Services’ drought-breaking grand final victory over Murgon Crusaders at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The right-arm medium fast bowler took an amazing 2\/9 off six overs.<\/p>\n

It’s been seven years since Kingaroy Services has been in the winner’s circle but they overcame the\u00a0defending premiers Crusaders easily, scoring 204 runs to Murgon’s 145.<\/p>\n

Another standout in Service’s bowling line-up was Shane Winter who took 3\/16 off just three overs.<\/p>\n

Top scorer for Services was Anthony Eden who scored the bulk of the runs (121), including four sixes and 10 fours. He was eventually run out by Liam Exelby.<\/p>\n
