The\u00a0Burnett Catchment Care Association (BCCA) will receive\u00a0$49,005 from Round 3 of the Federal Government’s Smart Farms Small Grants program.<\/p>\n

The group plans to use the funding to build grazier capacity in the Inland Burnett through improved property management.<\/p>\n

BCCA\u00a0works with landholders in the Burnett and adjoining catchment areas to improve sustainable agriculture through on-ground projects, field days and workshops.<\/p>\n

Agriculture Minister David Littleproud said 113 projects nationally would receive grants of up to $50,000 under Round 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cAustralian agriculture has a long history of early adoption of innovation – the ingenuity of our farmers never ceases to amaze me,\u201d Mr Littleproud said.<\/p>\n
