Kingaroy’s Commercial Hotel is now part of the Waymark Hotels group<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kingaroy’s Commercial Hotel, on the corner of Haly and Glendon streets, has new owners.<\/p>\n

The hotel has been owned by Underdog Hotels Pty Ltd since October 2010.<\/p>\n

It is now part of the privately owned Waymark Hotels group.<\/p>\n

The Commercial changed hands on April 28 in a sale negotiated by hotel brokers Savills.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“It was the exemplary negotiations and show of good faith between the seller and purchaser that ultimately led to a solution during these unprecedented times, which in turn, allowed settlement to proceed,” a Savills spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“The hospitality landscape has changed significantly over the past few months and through these challenging conditions, Savills Hotels remain committed to assisting all clients and industry participants.”<\/p>\n

The Commercial Hotel – which has been promoted locally as The Com.Pub – has 10 accommodation rooms, a commercial kitchen, a gaming room with 20 poker machines, pubTAB facilities plus the public bar, beer garden, function room and drive-through bottle shop.<\/p>\n

Waymark Hotels also owns the Redearth Boutique Hotel in Mt Isa, the Coolangatta Hotel on the Gold Coast and the Commercial Hotel-Motel in Chinchilla.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
