A new date has been fixed for the twice-postponed Yarraman forum.<\/p>\n

Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio and councillors from Toowoomba Regional Council will now visit Yarraman on Wednesday, March 13, to discuss visions for the future of the town.<\/p>\n

Residents from Yarraman and Cooyar are invited to attend the meeting which will be held at Yarraman Memorial Hall in\u00a0Browne Street from 6:00pm.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for councillors to receive submissions on\u00a0community priorities and visions for the future.<\/p>\n

The forum is a follow-on from a similar visit to the area in 2012.<\/p>\n

The evening will include a presentation from Yarraman organisations as to their vision for Yarraman and future economic opportunities through the development of tourism.<\/p>\n

For Cooyar residents it will be an opportunity to progress development of Memorial Park as well as re-affirming the community’s issue with current town maintenance and its general amenity.<\/p>\n

Guest speakers will also provide a snapshot of community funding opportunities and scheduled council development programs for the current financial year and beyond<\/p>\n

Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n
