April 21, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queensland Health reported six new cases on COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the State total to 1024.<\/p>\n

Of these, 738 people have recovered.<\/p>\n

There are 280 active cases: 21 patients are in hospital, including seven in intensive care units. The remainder of the active cases are recovering at home in quarantine.<\/p>\n

Contact tracing is under way for the six new cases.<\/p>\n

Queensland Health said a total of 87,470 people had been tested for COVID-19 so far in Queensland.<\/p>\n

Darling Downs Health again reported no new cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 15 active cases in the Darling Downs Health region are all in Toowoomba.<\/p>\n

At 6:00pm on Tuesday, 6645 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Australia, including 71 deaths.<\/p>\n
