May 10, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n A 39-year-old former Kingaroy man – facing four child sex charges – was committed to stand trial in the District Court when he appeared in the Kingaroy Magistrates’ Court today.<\/p>\n The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, now resides south of Brisbane.<\/p>\n He was charged with four counts of indecent treatment of a child under the age of 12.<\/p>\n The court heard the alleged incidents occurred between 2010 and January this year at Maidenwell and Kingaroy.<\/p>\n Defence solicitor Mark Werner said his client had consented to the case proceeding to the District Court by way of a full hand-up of prosecution evidence with no cross-examination of witnesses.<\/p>\n Magistrate B.D.
