South Burnett Regional Council employees now have a safer working environment thanks to the installation of a new dust extraction system at the Kingaroy Depot.<\/p>\n

The system has been installed in Council’s materials laboratory which analyses concrete and soil samples across the region.<\/p>\n

The lab’s customers include Transport and Main Roads, Stanwell Corporation and the Coopers Gap windfarm.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said after much technical investigation, Narangba-based Dust Collection Services was selected as the supplier.<\/p>\n

The installation was funded through Round 3 of the State Government\u2019s Works for Queensland program.<\/p>\n
