Mayor-elect Brett Otto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Mayor-elect Brett Otto says he is very impressed with the team he is going to work with at the South Burnett Regional Council.<\/p>\n

Mr Otto and his fellow South Burnett councillors have been doing induction training since Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> on Friday evening he was very impressed with CEO Mark Pitt and Council staff and the way they had organised the training.<\/p>\n

He had spoken to other mayors and he didn’t think any of the other councils were as organised as the South Burnett had been.<\/p>\n

Mayor-elect Otto and the rest of the recently elected councillors will be officially sworn into office on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Mr Otto said he had sent a strong message to all Council staff this week that they should not feel nervous about their jobs and there would be no radical changes.<\/p>\n

He believed he had a really good team of councillors and together they would achieve “some really good stuff”.<\/p>\n

“I am going to deliver on the things I talked about before the election. I am very committed about that,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
